Channel NewsAsia: New tool helps SGH staff, visitors ensure that protective gear is worn correctly
A new smart mirror is helping to ensure staff and visitors at Singapore General Hospital put on personal protective equipment correctly before entering an isolation facility. At least 400 staff members are expected to benefit from the time-saving device, which is being implemented in Singapore for the first time.
"In training mode it will already save our instructors about 10 to 15 minutes for every single new staff that we have to train. So across a single day, it will save our instructor at least half a day time period."
Ang Shin Yuh - Deputy Director, Nursing Division, Singapore General Hospital
